Stacy Smith
Stacy Smith, has been a lifetime Resident of the Lehigh Valley and Poconos areas.
He started in 1984 with a band called “Duke”, later known as “Howe II”, working backstage with sound and lighting design. He did this for several years before starting “The Mad. Dr. Sound” which included moving on to his own projects, supporting local bands and doing sound and stage setup independently.
In 2010 he received the LVMA Directors Award for his involvement with numerous projects which included, “We Rock” & “Hope for Allentown” and several other local and international shows throughout the Lehigh Valley.
He also delved into photography and live video for both local and international talents. Some of his works include; Maragold’s “Evergreen is Golder” music video and a feature article in Guitar Magazine.
He went on to work with bands offering services such as portfolios, photos, promotional videos and live sound.
Stacy currently resides in the Poconos with his wife and children working with a new band called “Say it Ain’t So”, soon to be hitting the Lehigh Valley.
