Sam Younes

Sam Younes, born in Beirut, Lebanon, moved to US in 1969, lifelong resident of Allentown, Pa.


Experienced in booking, promotion, marketing, band rep, DJ.... Got His start in the 1980's stage managing for local band the Blissters, got his first taste of booking when He helped them secure opening slot for Steppenwolf in Philadelphia. 1987-92 He promoted concerts at the Airport Music Hall,  He was responsible for securing several acts (GNR, Soundgarden) that achieved superstar status. Mid to late 90's lull in terms of involvement but attended many local shows in support of others.


At His suggestion to the Green Pine Inn / Casey's, Stan Levinson (SLP) promoted his first local shows (BOC, Warren Zevon, Extreme and Gvt Mule), Stan's move to Crocodile Rock was also at His suggestion to former owner Mike Kullman.

2004 to 2011 promoted various shows most notably when 50 Cent made unannounced appearance in Allentown. Booked various shows into Sterling Hotel, Frank Marino, Krokus, Y&T, Kix, Murphy's Law, The Toasters plus others. Booked local bands into Jelly Beans, Garfield Hotel and Lupos Allentown working the college, band, Mayfair weekend from approx. 2004 - 2007ish. During that same time frame He booked Blues rock artist Sarah Ayers. Since 2010 started the process of being a music supporter.


He is a Music and Community Minded Person who Founded the ABE Regional Awards in the Fall of this year...
